Audley Chaucer have engaged in the Will Aid scheme throughout the pandemic and are determined to help many in need of drafting their wills. The scheme allows people to make a donation to Will Aid in place of paying legal fees. Law firms, such as us, then draft your will as a goodwill gesture.
This year, our very own Larissa Bourgi has led us up the leader board drafting hundreds of wills as part of the scheme. We are proud to announce that we have thus far raised a staggering £23,650 and counting for Will Aid charities. Larissa has worked closely with the Will Aid team and has built a great repertoire as key contributor to the Will Aid scheme. Larissa recently featured on BBC London to promote the scheme and raise awareness about the importance of having a valid Will in place.
Writing a will can often be a burdensome process as it provokes us to think about the morbid topic of death. We at Audley Chaucer use our best endeavors to simplify the process and assist in every way possible. Larissa’s conduct has been praised by several of our clients for being “extremely friendly and professional”. Another client stated “Larissa took the time to explain each part of the Will to me. I appreciated her time, efforts and patience with me. Writing my will with Larissa has given me peace of mind.”
The scheme is designed to profit nine fundamental charities including ActionAid, AgeUK, the British Red Cross, Save the Children and NSPCC. Small but mighty, whilst we stand as a high street firm, we strive further than most city law firms. We are currently the third highest donating firm in the United Kingdom.
