Michael works in the Litigation Department, with a particular focus on insolvency, debt recovery and commercial disputes. His handling of high value civil and criminal disputes with HMRC make him a sought after advocate.
He brings experience in property matters handling all kinds of commercial property transactions, including: new developments (residential and commercial), sales and leases, planning work and planning appeals, acquisitions & disposals, investments, industrial properties and lease negotiations. Contentious and non-contentious property matters, including residential and commercial lease extensions, option agreements, trusts and possession claims are part of the services that Michael is experienced with.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael graduated with an English degree from the University of Exeter, before completing a Graduate Diploma in Law, and an LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in Guildford.
