Gaina Kapoor is interviewed by Local Radio on the importance of having a Will

New research has revealed that shockingly, 59% of adults in the South East of England do not have a valid will.

At Audley Chaucer we believe having a will provides your loved ones with peace of mind and certainty. We encourage clients of all ages to draft a will so that their interests are protected. The study showed, that the main barriers to making a will were seen as lack of time, having nothing worthy of passing on, and the fear of thinking about death.

As a firm we are passionate to promote the importance of creating a will, hence our involvement with Will Aid for the fourth year running.

Will Aid runs for the month of November and raises money for nine of the UK’s best-loved charities: ActionAid, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save The Children, Sightsavers, Age UK, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (Northern Ireland). Solicitors volunteer their time to charity to write wills for members of the public. Instead of paying the usual fee for the will, the client is asked to make a voluntary upfront donation to Will Aid.

Audley Chaucer provides clients the opportunity to assist them with the administration of their estate, enabling matters to be handled professionally from start to finish. Additionally, we can keep your will in safe storage and liaise with your loved ones on all matters.

Gaina Kapoor raised over £24,000 with Kieran Pezzack for Will Aid last year. As part of the campaign, Gaina spoke to a local radio station ‘Greatest Hits’ encouraging all those without a will to create one.

Whilst Will Aid runs exclusively in month of November, Audley Chaucer is happy to assist you all year round. Please get in touch if you would like one of our team to guide you through the will making process.
